Need help installing your new brushes?
You're in the right place! Here's how to download, install, and troubleshoot your Procreate brushes.
📥 How to Download Your Brushes
- After purchase, click the download link provided.
- Save the file to your iPad or computer.
- If the file is zipped (.zip), you'll need to unzip it before installing.
🎨 How to Install Brushes in Procreate
On iPad:
- Open the Files App.
- Find your downloaded .brushset file.
- Tap the file once — it will automatically open in Procreate.
On Computer:
- Download and unzip the file.
- Transfer the .brushset file to your iPad (AirDrop, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).
- Tap the file on your iPad to install into Procreate.
🛟 Troubleshooting Common Issues
Gray Square or No File Appearing?
- Make sure you’re downloading on an iPad (not iPhone) or use the Dropbox app for easier access.
Brush Files Appear "Grayed Out" When Importing?
- If you’re in Procreate’s import window for images, brushes won’t show up there.
- Instead, open the Files App directly and tap the brush file to install.
Can't Find the Brushes After Installing?
- Check the bottom of your Brush Library in Procreate for a folder called Imported — your brushes are often there!
